OrthoAccel® Technologies, Inc. developers of the AcceleDent™ System, a new deviceto accelerate orthodontic treatment, announced this week that a direct sales organization, including both field Territory Managers and inside telephone representatives, has been hired and is effective immediately. 

Houston, TX, December 8, 2011 – OrthoAccel Technologies, Inc., developers of the AcceleDent™ System, which is an acceleration device to enhance orthodontics, announced a new CFO, Andrew Layman, this week. Mr. Layman began effective December 1, and will oversee all administrative and finance functions at OrthoAccel.

OrthoAccel ® Technologies, Inc., developer of the AcceleDent™ System, an appliance designed to accelerate orthodontic treatment, announced that it has received FDA clearance and is preparing to launch the product throughout the United States.

OrthoAccel® Technologies, Inc. announced this week that it has finalized a distribution agreement with Micerium S.p.A. based in Avegno for exclusive distribution rights of the AcceleDent™ System in Italy.

OrthoAccel® Technologies, Inc. developers of the AcceleDent™ System, an appliance to accelerate orthodontic treatment, announced this week that it has engaged Dr. S. Jay Bowman as a clinical consultant. Dr. Bowman’s clinical experience, expertise and reputation on the orthodontic lecture circuit will help advance the clinical education of the AcceleDent™ System from the podium in lectures given around the world.

OrthoAccel® Technologies, Inc., developers of the AcceleDent™ System, which is an acceleration device to reduce orthodontic treatment time, recently received positive feedback from Dr. Sharon Orton-Gibbs of Walpole Specialists in Surbiton, United Kingdom. Dr. Orton-Gibbs is one of the first evaluation sites in the world to include AcceleDent in her orthodontic treatment plan. Dr. Orton-Gibbs has fitted 65 patients with AcceleDent and to date 9 patients have completed treatment – all significantly faster than expected.
